Hallways Tables Make A Great First Impression

The foyer or entryway is often the last part of your house you think about decorating, but it's the first part of your house a guest sees. This is the place to make a statement about your home and your hospitality. Hallway tables provide the perfect finishing touch that says you've thought your decor through all the way to the front door. There's a wide variety of options available for every decor theme, taste, and budget.

Choose a simple walnut table with slender legs for a touch of elegance. Or a bombe chest to show your exotic taste (and give you some extra storage drawers!). Try a rustic table for more of a log cabin feel. For a more contemporary look, try glass, metal, or painted wood.

How To Create The Perfect "Table" for Your Tiny Living Room

"If you love the idea of adding an ornate coffee table or desk to your living room but don't have the space, consider this solution from Home Made Simple designer Didiayer Snyder. By drawing and painting table legs beneath a floating shelf, you get the benefit of extra storage on a whole new and innovative level.

To get started, use a pencil and stencil to draw a phantom table underneath an installed floating shelf (be sure to remove the shelf before painting). Didiayer chose an elegant table pattern stencil that she found online. Next, choose a high gloss paint in a color that pops off the wall. The phantom table and floating shelf will both need to be painted for the effect to…

How To Build A Succulent Planter Coffee Table

"A backyard garden is always one of the best parts of summer, but some of us have greener thumbs than others. If taking care of a full garden is a little above your reach, or you're just looking for a beautiful way to add color and life to your outdoor space, this living coffee table project is for you.

By assembling four empty, discarded fruit crates you can create a small coffee table that fits anywhere from your deck to your front porch. Line the center of the crates with a sturdy plastic bag to hold soil for the planter. Drill some holes to allow water to pass through and then fill with soil.

While this coffee table can work with almost any kind of plant or flower, succulents are a great…
