So, I've put together 5 tips that may help you get started. The first thing I highly recommend is to find the right real estate agent. A professional REALTOR® will have a wealth of information on the local market. Curb Appeal is a great way to catch people's attention, and making a good first impression is everything! The first thing a potential buyer will see is the exterior of your home. To boost your home's curb appeal, make sure that the yard is clean and in good order.
Consider fixing minor repairs and maintenance to the outside of your house such as touch-up painting, window washing, and fixing anything broken. If there is something broken, like a fence, consider having it fixed.
Sometimes a new coat of paint on the front door and new exterior lights make an impression.
Consider adding some planters or mulch to garden beds. Lay out a welcome mat and make sure your mailbox is clean. Dust away spiderwebs and debris from windows, eaves, and porches.
Not only does a positive curb appeal welcome prospective buyers, but it also shows that you have cared for the home and that it has been well taken care of.
5. Take Care of Interior Quick Repairs
Walk your home and make a list of items that may need to be addressed. Start with items that are easy fixes including:
