Why Should I list My House Now?

This is something many sellers are thinking about lately. If you sold your home over the past 24 months, chances are you capitalized on your investment handsomely. With low-interest rates, we saw a buying frenzy unfold. 

People are now questioning whether should they sell now or hold off. One of the first questions I ask clients is - why are you wanting to sell? There are many reasons why people sell, they include but are not limited to they are moving out of state. Their spouse past away and the home is too big to manage now. Kids have left home and parents are looking to downsize and save money for retirement. They have grown out of their current home and need more space for their growing family. The list goes on!

No matter your circumstances, in 2022 and into 2023 - listing your home for sale is to your advantage. 

While we are now seeing more inventory on the market, here in Volusia County the housing market has remained steady. While other cities and states have seen declines in pricing - we are only growing! Yes, homes may stay on the market a little longer due to interest rates ranging from 3.5% - 5%, but owners are still getting top dollar for their investment.
